e-Certificate Online Course Policy
Friend & Company Financing is pleased to offer eligible borrowers and participating employer partners complimentary access to selected Personal & Career Development e-Certificate Online Courses, courtesy of INFOSERV Learning Management System.
INFOSERV has over 40 years of experience in professional development, human capacity development, and supporting individuals and organizations through learning and development solutions.
Eligibility
Borrowers
Each eligible borrower is entitled to one (1) complimentary course seat.
The borrower may either:
- Complete the course personally; or
- Nominate one (1) individual to receive the complimentary course.
Employer Partners
Eligible employer partners that facilitate salary deduction repayments are entitled to a one-time allocation of two (2) complimentary course seats.
This employer benefit:
- Is provided once only;
- Is non-recurring;
- Is not based on loan volume; and
- May be assigned to employees selected by the employer.
Course Nominations
Borrower Nominations
Where a borrower wishes to nominate another individual, the nomination must be submitted using either:
- The email address registered with their loan application; or
- The mobile number registered with their loan application by WhatsApp.
The nomination must include:
- Nominee's full name
- Email address
- Mobile telephone number
Employer Partner Nominations
Employer partner nominations must be submitted by the employer's designated Human Resources representative or another authorised company representative.
Each nomination must include:
- Participant's full name
- Email address
- Mobile telephone number
Friend & Company Financing Ltd. reserves the right to verify the identity and authority of any person submitting a nomination before processing the request.
Course Activation & Access
Activation Timeline
The complimentary course benefit becomes available after the borrower's first scheduled loan repayment has been successfully received (or confirmed via salary deduction).
Default Assignment
If no nomination is received within fourteen (14) days after eligibility has been established, the course seat will automatically be assigned to the borrower.
Course Delivery
Friend & Company Financing will arrange course access after confirming the participants’ details. Course access will ordinarily be provided within fourteen (14) days after eligibility has been confirmed.
Course Access
Participants will receive complimentary access to their selected course for ninety (90) calendar days from the date access is granted by INFOSERV, not on the loan disbursement date. During this period, participants may access the course online at any time.
Delays & Support
If access details are not received within thirty (30) calendar days, contact Friend & Company Financing Ltd. for prompt investigation. Delays resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information supplied by the borrower, nominee, or employer representative may delay course access.
NB: Once course access has been issued, the complimentary course seat may not be transferred to another person without the prior written approval of Friend & Company Financing Ltd.
Course Completion & e-Certificate
To qualify for an e-Certificate, participants must:
- Complete all required course content;
- Successfully complete all required assessments; and
- Satisfy any other course completion requirements established by INFOSERV.
Upon successful completion, INFOSERV will normally issue the participant's e-Certificate within one (1) month.
Expired Course Access
If the participant does not complete the course and assessments before the complimentary 90-day access period expires, the complimentary access provided by Friend & Company Financing will end.
Any request to extend or reactivate access will be subject to INFOSERV's policies, availability, and applicable fees payable directly to INFOSERV. Friend & Company Financing is not responsible for any fees charged by INFOSERV.
General Conditions
- Complimentary course seats have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other benefit.
- Course seats may not be sold or transferred except through the official nomination process.
- Friend & Company Financing reserves the right to amend, suspend, or discontinue this programme for future participants at any time without prior notice.
- Course credentials must not be shared or transferred. Unauthorized sharing or misuse will result in immediate cancellation of access and forfeiture of the benefit.
- Promotional benefits are subject to the Company's terms and conditions and may be modified, substituted, or withdrawn for future loan applications at the Company's discretion.
